What is Dye Sublimation

Dye sublimation is a decoration method that uses specialty sublimation ink, transfer paper, heat, and pressure to bond a design into the material itself. Because the ink becomes part of the item rather than sitting on top of it, the design is made to last without peeling away from the surface.

How It Works

Your image is printed onto transfer paper using dye sublimation ink. The transfer is then applied to the product with high heat and pressure. During the process, the ink turns into gas and bonds with the polyester fibers or specialty coating on the item.
