Working at Inkpressions
We are a custom apparel decorator in Commerce Township, Michigan. Screen printing, embroidery, DTG, heat press, dye sublimation and vinyl all happen in house, under one roof — which means the people who run our equipment see a job through from blank garment to finished order.
Our work runs from small team runs to large-scale programs, on premium brands like Carhartt, Nike, The North Face and BELLA+CANVAS. If you take pride in getting a registration dead-on or a stitch file exactly right, you will fit here.
Roles we hire for
We are not always actively hiring for every position, but these are the roles that make up our shop. If one matches your experience, send us your resume and we will keep it on file.
- Screen Printing Press Operator — Run manual and automatic presses, register multi-colour jobs, mix and match ink colours, and keep quality consistent across a full production run.
- Embroidery Machine Operator — Hoop and run multi-head embroidery equipment, manage thread changes and stabiliser choices, and inspect stitch quality on caps, polos and outerwear.
- Art Preparation & Digitising — Prepare customer artwork for production — colour separations for screen print, digitised stitch files for embroidery, and production-ready proofs.
- Production & Fulfilment — Receive and count blanks, stage jobs for the floor, fold and bag finished goods, and pack orders for pickup or shipping.
- Customer Service & Estimating — Answer quote requests, walk customers through decoration options and garment choices, and keep orders moving from artwork approval to delivery.
What we look for
- Attention to detail — decoration is unforgiving, and a misregistered print is scrap.
- Reliability during production weeks, when deadlines are fixed by a customer's event date.
- Willingness to learn a second station. Cross-trained operators keep the floor moving.
- Prior print, embroidery or production experience is welcome but not required for entry-level roles — we train.
