This policy explains how Inkpressions (“we”, “us”) handles information collected through this website. It applies to store.inkpressions.com and the quote, ordering and design tools on it.
Information you give us
- Quote and contact requests. Your name, email address, phone number, the garment type or subject you select, and your message. If you start from a product page we also receive the product, variant, quantity and the decoration placements and method you chose.
- Orders. Items, quantities and the decoration details attached to them.
- Artwork you upload. Logos, images and designs you add in the design tool, so we can prepare and produce them.
Information collected automatically
- Cart identifier. When you add an item, we store a Shopify cart ID in your browser's local storage so your cart survives a page reload.
- Display preference. Your light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser.
- Device identifier. We generate a browser fingerprint (a “visitor ID”) and store it in your browser's local database. We use it to associate saved designs with your session so your work is not lost between visits, and to apply usage limits on the design tool. It is not used for advertising.
- Server logs. Our hosting records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or session-replay tools on this site, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use it
- To prepare quotes and answer your enquiries.
- To produce, fulfil and ship your order.
- To keep your cart and saved designs working across visits.
- To protect the site against abuse, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers needed to run the store, and only as far as each needs to do its job:
- Shopify — powers our catalogue, cart and checkout. When you check out, Shopify processes your payment and billing details directly. We never see or store your card number.
- Our design and pricing service — receives artwork you upload and the design specification, so it can be rendered and priced.
- Hosting and email providers — deliver this site and our correspondence with you.
- Shipping carriers — receive the delivery details needed to get your order to you.
We may also disclose information where required by law. Shopify's handling of checkout data is governed by its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Quote and order records are retained for as long as needed to service your account and to satisfy accounting and legal requirements. Uploaded artwork is retained so we can reorder for you; ask us and we will delete it. The identifiers stored in your browser stay until you clear your browsing data.
Your choices
- Clearing your browser's site data removes the cart ID, theme preference and visitor ID stored on your device.
- You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing orders@inkpressions.com.
- Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information. Contact us and we will honour any request the law entitles you to.
Children
This site is intended for business and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
